America isn’t a country, it’s just a business

It’s three businesses in a country sized trench coat.

Not gen z, but God bless 'em. I came to the same conclusion after the first round of layoffs at my first job. They laid off the experts because they had higher salaries and kept the lower paid, less skilled workers. It was completely absurd. Then it happened again, and again. Why would I ever expect my work to treat me with any loyalty or concern when no employer has even shown me or mine any?

Soft disagree. I want to do meaningful work and interesting work. It’s boring bullshit getting 10 managers to approve a change when none of them know what I even do. I love working on my projects in my garage, or in my kitchen on baking something.

Idk the specifics, but probably. I’ve watched many videos on rainwater harvesting and they have storage tanks and pressure tanks.

I know it feels wasteful, but it’s a couple of pennies worth of water.

A couple of tricks I’ve seen in the zero waste forums is saving that water in a bucket and watering plants or flushing toilets with it.

it’s not as crazy as he is saying. His depiction of manhood feels almost satire to me. Almost all of my interaction with men, I feel safe enough to talk about my problems, my feelings and my opinions on things, both personal or not.

It’s spot on for me. 9/10 times I open up to other men, it’s either diminished, insulted, or ignored. I count 4 friends who’ve actually listened to me. 1 ghosted me some time later. 1 listened rarely, only after I listened to him for hours. The other 2 are true chads and I wish life hadn’t separated us.

When I open up to women, it’s either insulted or saved and later used against me as manipulation.

I just don’t anymore. Only people I talk to are therapists.

That’s my experience, too. Most of the times I’ve opened up to a girlfriend, it’s turned them off. They thought they wanted me to, but they regretted it, which made me regret it. Either that or they later used it to manipulate me. So I just stopped.
