Best part of a Dolly Parton presidency would be having Dolly Parton as president.

I don't mind Joe, but Dolly as the alternative?

Sorry, Joe.

Whining about political correctness has been going on for decades, and every time, it's been a defense of shittiness, if not outright bigotry.

If you believe political correctness is "too far", then you should be fine with blackface, Asian and Jewish stereotypes, and the mocking of people with disability.

No? Then you too are being "politically correct", and that's a good thing. You're just stopping where you care, because you can't/won't see the harm going further does.

Brilliant.

But that'd take people being able to read the signage, and people like that also tend to be the people who take 20+ items into the 10 items or less aisle, or will step over a "caution do not enter" emergency tape.

Now, if the barista was allowed to have a squirt bottle of water with which to chastise people who violated it, that I could get behind.

A few reminders about Trump's NY Trial:

  1. It's not simply about him trying to cover up alleged affairs

  2. It's about him allegedly orchestrating an illegal scheme to deprive voters of information

  3. He was indicted by a grand jury made up of ordinary citizens, not Biden

MorganV ,

@rbreich

Also, unless Biden travelled back in time and spoke to Bloomberg in 2006, and Judge Ann Pfau in 2009, the judge is not a "Biden judge".

Please tell me this isn't an actual thing 🤢

Given that they're marinated alive, I'm scared to read the next couple of lines in that recipe.

Guns are the leading cause of death for children in America.

If Republicans really cared about "protecting children" or the "sanctity of life," they wouldn't oppose Biden's effort to close the “gun show loophole” that allows firearms to be purchased without a background check.

MorganV ,

@rbreich

Don't worry. Most of the same people with a hand in permitting this are trying to make sure communicable diseases (particularly preventable ones) make a strong return. Because vaccines are bad now, apparently.

Party of "sanctity of life", and "protect our children", my ass.
