Is there a way to revert back to Plasma 5.27?

I don't think is ready for prime time. When I open apps, the title bar goes above the screen space and I can't move or close the app or use the menus.

Can’t you right click => maximize on the task in taskbar? Or meta + page up on keyboard

When you hold meta (windows key) on keyboard and click anywhere in the window and hold mouse button, you can move the window around

So far, I have to say that my experience sucks.

The theme I was using doesn't work. The icons all suck. EventCalendar, which was synced to my Google calendar is dead. Vivaldi looks like crap. The panel at the bottom of my screen is floating up probably 100 pixels, leaving useless space below it, I can't find a way to sink it to the actual bottom of the screen. I had increased all my font sizes because my eyes are bad, they have all shrunk and changing the font sizes and the interface percentage doesn't fix it.

So far, not a happy experience @kde

KDE's educational software for kids, GCompris, releases version 4.0 with 8 new activities.

GCompris 4.0 contains 190 educational activities and games 🎲, adding 8 new ones: "Grammar classes", "Grammar analysis", "Calcudoku", "Guess 24", "Frieze", "Read a graduated line", "Use a graduated line", and "Adjacent numbers".

All activities are translated to over 40 languages.

The alpha versions of Plasma 6, Gear 24.02 and Frameworks 6 are now available.

Note that "Alpha" means NOT ready for production! Use for testing and reporting bugs only. End users: keep clear.

This is a testing version of KDE's 6th Megarelease. The final version is scheduled to be available in February.

good idea, maybe search indexing, I just moved the mountpoints to /mnt and symlinked to /home, as balooctl config ls includeFolders tells me it just indexes /home/user and test it for a few hours or a day

seems to be gone, thanks! I switched all the “places” links to the symlinks to make sure, so far it has not happened once. I’m confident it’s gone :-)
