If they communicated better, and offered the training/position/salary increase as incentive to stay, that would (imo) be a better course of action. This just feels rude and incompetent
This is an odd one. The only whole house shut off is on the city side of my meter and the person from public works I talked to said only the city could operate it and if it were to break while I operated it I could be held financially liable....
When faced with the prospects of actually paying workers a far wage, these companies are doing everything they can to prevent it. Says a lot about their priorities.
I mean, it makes complete sense that they’re fighting this hard once you realize their business models are only remotely viable because they exploit the fuck out of their workers.
