Ngl if it weren’t for my soul crushing student loan debt, I’d do this. Not to qualify for jobs or gloat, I just love learning.

I hope to start a PhD before 40 but the finances and family life aren’t looking too promising.

Almost exactly what I said too.

Thanks for taking a look and the advice. I just went through our old demo pics and noticed the small pipe runs up and joins the primary vent stack. Now I can plug it and be done with that stench.

Think an expansion plug or should I try to chop the pipe and cap it?

main stack

I’m open to the ghetto solution for the time being while I cap it. I replied to another comment with a pic of the main vent stack so it looks like I’ll be able to cap it. Just have to figure out the best way to do that.

Huh! I’d never seen one before. Really simple fix. Thanks for the suggestion!

That’s a whole lot of digging! What’s strange is that the corner where I ripped the wood sits under our entry stairs, which has a 3’ overhang and is almost always dry. The other site sits under concrete so my hands are tied to the interior for now.

Thanks for the suggestion.

That’s what I’m leaning towards. I don’t see any coating, except for the floor. I’m thinking that and a lucky rabbits foot are my last shot.

I’ve seen that drain system and I think that might be the least expensive way to deal with it. I’ve heard mixed reviews but generally it seems to work. Our layout makes it tough to run it along the perimeter to the sump pump but it’s still more accessible than digging the exterior or drain tiles.

I appreciate the help.

Same here! Except I like how the ground floor extends evenly with the upper floors. Mine has like a 3’ overhang instead.

There is little to no precedent for a sitting president joining striking workers on a picket line.

Seth Harris, a former top labor policy adviser for Mr. Biden, said he was not aware of any president walking a picket line before.

Openly siding with Labor. That’s a bold declaration for any politician, especially the president. President Chad.

This is like the evolution of the “loss” meme. Gave me a chuckle.

Next, do a garden hose. That beast is impossible to tame!

I’d just like to know the story behind your outrageously hilarious username…

I’m in dire need of a Voyager replica. I’ve been considering building one using a BrickLink build. Love the way your whole collection looks!
