This is just a thought I had that I wanted to bounce off people who know more about ActivityPub/the fediverse— would it be feasible (and would it make sense) to build an open-source, ActivityPub-compatible dating app as an alternative to Tinder/Bumble/etc.? Yeah, it’s another early development thing, and I don’t think it’s fully integrated yet with ActivityPub but last I heard that was the direction it was leaning but I have not kept up with it.
I have no idea why they are publishing pieces like this, and it’s objectively false. Mastodon had over 60,000 sign-ups in the last week, and my feed is as busy as it ever was. It went from like 4 million when I signed up less than a year ago to over twelve million now.
Bought a new home with a stone basement. Thinking about throwing a small home gym down there, is there anything I should consider beforehand?
