Just pulling this out of my ass, but that tagline sounds like he’s unemployed and trying to break into the game industry as a temp or contract.
This is why he’s upset, he hasn’t even been able to break into the industry and here are all these people complaining about losing what he desperately wants for himself. Why should they get sympathy when they’re still in an objectively better position to get a job at another company than he’ll ever be?
There’s interviews with Frakes where he talks about stepping into the director’s role for a few episodes and quickly realizing that it was very difficult to do when the cast would goof off up until the word ACTION gets called.
So Stewart probably had a point, especially from production’s view.
