Dell said return to the office or else—nearly half of workers chose “or else” - Workers stayed remote even when told they could no longer be promoted. ( arstechnica.com )

Big tech companies are still trying to rally workers back into physical offices, and many workers are still not having it. Based on a recent report, computer-maker Dell has stumbled even more than most....

Remember people, the power is in the workforce.

The greatest con ever conducted was to convince the largest population of people on the face of the planet, the middle class that we have no power.

We hold literally all the power.

All we have to do is collectively as a society stand up to these corporations and tell them that we will work only on our terms not on theirs.

Well, the revolt I was more or less referring to would be against private/public business.

We need to as a society start dictating how much things should cost.

Like inflation for example wouldn't exist if as a whole population we simply didn't pay the difference in increased price.

Business would eventually start pricing their good and services to where people wanted to pay as long as they paid.

I'm reading this as "8 people have half of all the money in the world" is that correct?

mechoman444 ,

This makes sense. Yes. And yes.

Well, they won't kill you right away... They'll toy with you for a while then kill you.

There are places in the universe that are so hot that weird things start to happen. Like the core of Jupiter could be a giant hard hydrogen crystal or in the center of suns where lighter chemicals fuse into heavier ones. Or my favorite, the temperature of the early universe which may have contributed to hyper inflation which would constitute what you refer to as "relativistic effects".

In terms of noticing them we have detected the cosmic microwave background radiation.

He's your dude! You know exactly what he is!

So let me get this straight. People are completing jobs then slow rolling it to the end of the day to turn in those completed jobs so they don't have to do additional work? Is that correct?

If someone could clarify what a quit quitter is that would be great.

mechoman444 ,

That is absolutely correct. The atmosphere is held in place, so to speak, by gravity. It is also spinning along with the earth. Some of the atmosphere is lost to outer space at a regular rate and again replenished by natural processes that are beyond the scope of your question.

What’s more interesting is the atmosphere is pressurized at a decreasing gradient the closer it gets to outer space thereby relinquishing the idea that a container is necessary to house all of our atmosphere. (I watch a lot of flat earth videos for funzies.)

Uhhh, the earth isn’t flat, just in case.
