The problem is your statement seems to be downplaying the actual crime which is rape of a child. The argument is that needs to be said very clearly. This guy raped a child. Let's not dilute that. It seems you're trying to dilute it. Make sure to acknowledge the specific crime and the specific victim.
I mean honestly it kind of feels like you're making and all lives matter kind of argument here.
I don't understand how you can spin getting your money the day you do the labor as an anti-worker thing. It's the opposite. You're putting in the work that day you should be paid that day. That's how it should be. Daily pay is the better deal for the worker. Weekly or bi-weekly paychecks are just free loans to your employer. It's you doing the work and them getting to pay you two weeks from now. They're getting the value of your labor today, so that's when you should be paid for it.
I'd say it's actually opposite. Same day pay means that they can't fire you unless they have the money in hand. Someone who can wait a week and a half before paying you their final paycheck can fire you whenever they need to. Same day pay means they got to have that paycheck first.
As for Rich versus poor imagery? That's so transmutable as to not be worth talking about. Completely ephemeral. Heck you eating lobsters used to be a sign of poor class, now it's the opposite. Things like perception can change very quick. Besides seeing is so much CEO pay is tied up in stock options these days I would argue that they are paid immediately even more than anyone else.
Well, get your guns I guess. That's what the Supreme Court says. Going back to the days where we have to fight literal Wars for our rights. We'll just have to win again.

In a vacuum I could see this being a very positive endeavor. However judging from the listed backers of this scheme and their explicitly stated goals I can't see it being anything but a horror show.

I tell you it didn't ever occur to me until I read this article that the Democrats will be running him again. They're just going to hand that seat to the Republicans.
Nobody's arguing that he's still pulling strings man. They're saying he got the ball rolling. That is policies have reverberated up until this day. That he started a trend that others continued.
Do you feel anyone who's blaming the Reagan policies is claiming we shouldn't do anything about today? Are you suggesting they're all pining for time machines? In fact I'll go further and ask this do you really think you can address the problems of today without understanding how they began? How can you even approach economic policy reform without looking back and understanding what went wrong?
Also there's a long long history in our world of horrible evil brutal leaders being popular at the time. So I don't think we need to go into that absurd argument any further.
A financial crisis that was caused by those and the policies that sprung from those policies. The trends that were started then. The idea that you look at something as gargantuan as the economy and think that it's not affected by things that happened decades before is insane. Also weird to complain about culture War when that's what Reagan began. Though it's policy that we're concerned with at the moment. Policy.
Also the 2008 financial crisis started under Bush. I dont know why you think you could change history on that one.
