Discover - possible to limit download speed?

Hi, sadly I have a very limited internet connection (10 Mbit). When I'm watching a video and then install something in Discover, it takes almost all the bandwidth and the video begins to stutter & buffer. Somebody knows if there's a way to limit the download speed for discover - preferably without installing additional software?

tun ,

Look into Bufferbloat and SQM.

One way is to replace your router with a router with good SQM (smart queue management). You can find recommended router at https://www.waveform.com/tools/bufferbloat

After Radio Silence, Kbin App Artemis Shuts Down ( wedistribute.org )

Artemis was stopped in its tracks because the source code hasn’t been released, and the app is only set to work with Artemis Camp. The two workarounds used to get the project going have taken a turn for the worse, because all of Artemis development depends on one person, and one server

One of these 6 beauties will become the wallpaper for Plasma 6. Which one do you prefer?

textbook from a university course on ICT that is considered particularly good?

IMO, text book covers more on theory. Generally text book are outdated when it comes out due to relatively longer time required for preparation and publishing.

    Your have a point.

In addition to the textbook, check out certificate oriented book like network+ and security+

Cool KDE Plasma trick: [Meta] + [v]

You know how you can use [Ctrl] + [v] to paste in place the last thing you copied to the clipboard, right?

A cool and productive-enhancing variant of that available in 's desktop is that, when copying and pasting a lot of different things, you can hold down the [Meta] ("Windows") key and hit [v], and a list of all the elements available on the clipboard will pop up so you can choose what to paste next.

    A screencast showing how [Meta] + [v] works vs [Ctrl] + [v].

Cool! No need for separate clipboard manager (unless you need more advanced features).

I use clipman in Xfce and bind a keyboard shortcut to popup the menu (my case Ctrl+alt+k).

Recently I add CB (the clipboard project) to my tools to management clipboard.

I tried many and settled for Xfce clipman (fit my need, low RAM usage).
