Exactly. And, this needs to happen if they can't even caucus together to do something as simple as select a speaker. Their internal division is paralyzing Congress because they are two parties acting like one, but not really.

But somehow people still argue that since he hasn't been convicted and sentenced yet himself they can't imagine him being disqualified from holding office under the 14th amendment, which states he's ineligible if he's "engaged in insurrection or rebellion against the (United States), or given aid or comfort to the enemies thereof."

Not sure if they're willfully ignorant, straight up seditious or just unable to read their own 18 page constitution.

They are not only fucking over their employees. They're fucking over all tax payers and straining the countries they are allowed to operate in, while funneling those dollars to top executives and shareholders.

These companies rely on social programs like welfare and food stamps to support their front line staff. They drain those programs for their own profits, and leave the governments less able to help their people. This is vampire capitalism.

Though I don't think this is necessarily a bad idea, why not require rent payments be rewarded with a proportion of equity shares equal to rent (less a small prercatage for upkeep)? That's entirely within the capitalist model but drives value into the hands of the people/occupants where it belongs. Aggregating land holding to a small class of the population is clearly untenable. Give people their equity back. Seems more direct.

Remember: Workers make the machinery. Then, workers use the machinery to make more things. It may be different workers at different stages, but workers are the only means of production. Everything is produced by someone working to do so.

Join a union.
