Colton Moore is not a statewide officeholder. He is a state senator. The statewide officeholders, including the AG and the SoS have supported Kemp and the position that Trumps interference was illegal. Heck it was SoS Raffensperger who recorded the call.
Earlier this month, Republican State Senator Colton Moore called on Kemp to declare an emergency session to investigate and potentially impeach Willis directly in relation to her approximate 2-and-a-half-year investigation that he claims could ultimately spark a “civil war.”
Republican State Senator Colton Moore is a co-conspirator.
Oh cool, so now Kemp is black balled too. Who’s the next yes-man meat head loser the GOP will hoist up to run Georgia? The cracks are already showing, it would be entertaining if they didn’t take everyone else down in their BS.
Fulton County is part of Georgia. Kemp is the governor and oversees the AG who is elected to run state legal affairs. In Fulton County, Fani Willis was elected to run state legal affairs. It’s a government of Georgia relationship.
And Georgia is part of the US. But Fani Willis doesn’t answer to US AG Garland or president Biden any more than she does to GA AG Carr or Kemp. She works for Fulton County. She doesn’t run state legal affairs. She is a prosecutor for the county.
Correct, however she practices Georgia state law. Federal law is for the feds. State and local law is what Willis does. If she malfeasance the AG and governor can step in. That is exactly what the Georgia state legislators want. Kemp says no.
I hate the state I live in. Georgia is chock full of pieces of shit and many of them are in the state government. Willis followed the facts and an independent jury indicted him — Willis didn’t.
Lol. Kemp isn't going to help Trump. Trump is blocking basically every Republican with ambition from pursuing the White House. Kemp has ambition, and this indictment is pretty much a win-win for him. If Willis gets the conviction, Trump is gone for 2028, and Kemp can run as a successful governor of a swing(ish) state. If Willis blows it, her future in Georgia politics is toast, and he knocks off a rival down the road. The only way to fuck this up is to do anything.
He feels safe because he thought that men feel safe.
I’m a man and I’ve NEVER felt safe at night. It’s a myth perpetuated by (feminist) women who don’t understand men’s experiences but just assume they do anyway.
And I’m not afraid just because men are twice as likely to be attacked or murdered by a stranger. I was beaten at home and I was beaten at school. These leave an indelible impression upon your soul.
Just because I’m a man doesn’t mean I feel safe and assuming it does hurts men.
But I guess this is no surprise that’s just a bundle of stereotypical attitudes towards men.
For example,
If I could advise men, it would be first to look inward.
Ah, men should “solve their own problems”, only exactly what we’ve been told for thousands of years. Interesting, this, since it’s also all men’s responsibility to help women’s struggle against the “patriarchy”.
This attitude is also expressed in his use of the word “broken”. Men aren’t victims (they as a whole can never be allowed to be victims) but they are broken - malfunctioning humans - and it’s up to each of them to solve the problem foisted upon by society at large.
Finally, it’s interesting that he never realizes that much of what he’s lost is female privilege (the hugs, the concern, the interest, the positive attention) but insists upon talking a supposed male privilege anyways.
