It really seems like satire, but based off the guy’s profile and normal posts I don’t think it is.

I saw this and thought, well yeah that VP is right, cold calls are annoying spam. However, based on the insane comments by all the salespeople, you'd be wrong. Like, are salespeople that out of touch with normal people?
Had a laugh when I saw this post, he was constantly defending himself in the comments as if the US army owns the word “veteran”

Similar to applying to jobs online, it’s tempting but basically crap. Just because everyone is doing it doesn’t mean it’s the best or healthiest strategy....
