There was no web design business. There was no gay client asking for a super gay wedding website. The supposed client didn't even know about the case and is not gay.
The supreme court took on a hypothetical case and used it to make gays second class citizens.
To borrow a phrase from Roberts, the best way to stop criticism that the court is “going beyond the proper role of the judiciary” is for the court to stop going beyond the proper role of the judiciary.
This, right here, is my favorite line of the article.
Elena Kagan and Stepben Breyer - jews - make up 0.2% of the US but have 22% of the Supreme Court. A 10000% over representation.
Jackson chick - affirmative action gone wild, crazy sjw appointed by the retard in chief who cries Racism every second word. And gets butthurt when the real G who overcame adversity tells her to stop BSing
If libs got more butthurt they’d be bleeding from both their pussy AND their butthole lmao
First of all, Jews make up 2.4% of the US. Second, Supreme Court justices are appointed, not elected. They are not meant to be representative of population demographics. That's the entire reason they aren't elected.
Maybe you should retake your high school civics and US Govt classes, it's pretty clear your susceptibility to Russian troll farms has eroded what little understanding of the way the government is meant to work and replaced it with an irrational fear of anything that doesn't walk, talk and look like you.
And stop engaging in political gamesmanship where they purposely tie their retirements to Republican Presidents among other GOP fuckery. John Roberts, if he actually cared about the integrity of the court, would resign now so Biden could appoint his replacement and try to reverse the politicization of the court.
Doesn’t matter the administration has to try. If they don’t then the support from those who think loan forgiveness is correct well weaken. Democrats can’t risk losing any support. Plus it potentially can help to show how bad the court’s legal reasoning has become. Highlighting that further won’t solve the problem today, but helps set the stage to solve it tomorrow.
Maybe start by actually giving a damn what people think. Is that even possible for a conservative?
How about you stop playing the victim all the time (while abusing yourself and pretending that it's the guy you oppose) and actually stand for something (other than your own mindless survival)?
Does anybody care what The Supreme Court justices think? They are all narcissistic crooks.
Kavanaugh yelled at his interviewers and rambled on about his love for drinking beer through his butt-hole (how do you qualify for any job after that?)
Clarence is a soulless, political hack
RGB was too full of herself to step down in a timely manner
Barrett claims to be Christian, but took her position predicated on a lie and in bad faith
None of the justices want oversight, even though there is rampant bribing taking place among their ranks.
All of recent major decisions have upended legal precedent which is the entire foundation of our law. With judges who will not respect legal precedent, what's really the point in giving a shit. The rules are made up now, and the scores don't matter.
What is going on in Indiana with that they had to make ninja stars illegal in the first place? Either way it's good to see that injustice righted while still thinking of the children.
A lot of laws about weapons aren't really about anything actually happening or dangers. Often it's about perceptions people have or actually about trying to target a group politicians don't like.
That's how bailsongs and switch blades got restricted in a lot of states. Also why suppressors or short barreled firearms are regulated like hand grenades.
As the Lever helped expose last year, Leo’s judicial activism was supercharged in 2021 when a conservative surge protector magnate secretly funneled $1.6bn to his new dark money fund – the largest known political advocacy donation in US history.
Even the design of the student debt case reeks of Leo’s involvement, since just like the Colorado suit, it appears to have been based on DC machinations. As the Lever reported, the student loan servicer at the heart of the case – whom Republican attorneys general argued would be harmed by Biden’s student loan plan – would in reality face no financial harm at all.
The US has a serious problem about the impartiality of the SCOTUS. Dems not going hard to fix the problem is not helping the situation. Future of US Legal System is not looking good for the average Joe.
