@rbreich when republicans say "limited government" they mean limited civil service. They want to fire all those pesky social workers, postman, building inspectors,regulatory agency experts, Muppets and scientists.
They want to actually grow the jackbooted thugs departments (as long as those departments never come after republican criminals?
@rbreich they wanted to limit the government type they did not approve. People always think they argue with these people on the same terms. They are fascists. Pure and simple. They will twist their words to sound something legit because for them the goal justifies all means, including lying and cheating.
@rbreich of course the issue is they don't want to be the party of limited government anymore. That was the former Republican party. That party couldn't win so they invited in Christian nationalists. Those people let the power go to their heads and welcomed in fascist thinking and here we are.

The US military is constantly expanding, not to counter any potential threats or even ease logistical challenges, but purely to meet the needs of the expanding military.
