@georgetakei After a management buyout led by the Fat Controller Sodor has replaced their pre-war railway with a modern driverless metro system, so Thomas & Friends are being sold for scrap.
The Fat Controller quickly sold his shares in the new company to a private equity group and is now a partner at a City firm specialising in infrastructure LBOs.
