@arstechnica My first impression was already like "what can this even do that a regular smartphone wouldn't" I wasn't prepared that this is literally the same technology.
Who the heck would think it a good idea to make and sell an entirely separate device for what's literally just an android app that would run on the device you already have.
Completely obsolete from the moment it was first concieved.
@arstechnica Just spit-balling here from an utterly nontechnical perspective, but in terms of Ocam’s Razor, it’s much easier to sell a $200 device (affordable luxury) as opposed to a $200 app (hideously overpriced in terms of phones).
