@arstechnica My guess is that he probably thought money in his bank account will make him invincible. You know, "the main character never dies!" mentality.
@arstechnica As a minimum measurement to thwart social engineering for important FOSS projects, can we only admit verified people to "contribute" to them? Or would there be a major loophole in it too?
@arstechnica I think I read something about creating their own universe because the reality is never satisfactory to them. Whatever it is, it sounds like a political version of that syndrome.
@arstechnica I know storing documents on another person's computer makes some people uncomfortable, but because I don't actually value most of my documents as a private property, cloud-based office suites became a good fit for me.
@arstechnica Although I'm concerned whether it's strictly on a legal ground, I cannot but be skeptical on that "protest." How? By cranking up their public "pranks?"
@arstechnica Makes me question whether you need to pay more to something I won't even notice. Are they noticeably different in durability? After-reading-edit: maybe not. It's truly a matter of image quality, which makes me back to the original question. Maybe it's just suggesting that this Q-thingy is not my problem.
@arstechnica For someone who didn't read it but made a premature conclusion out of the first impression (who is also unlikely to read this comment, unfortunately), the unexpected thing was that the immune system didn't get as much tired of multiple vaccinations as expected, not that there was no side-effects (which was not quite the researchers' main concern).
@arstechnica Seat belts were open to public for driver's safety back half a century ago. Now people are adding "features" that clearly harm driver's safety just for marketing benefits. Wtf.
@arstechnica I wonder the ubiquitous connectivity thing can be a "hype" that spanned almost two third of the century (counting the internet itself as a part of the hypothetical "hype").
@arstechnica No... Imagine people huddling around in the living room wearing one of these things to watch TV together. Yeah. Not gonna happen. At least I don't think so.
@arstechnica I actually don't mind people voluntarily risking their own lives doing unreasonable things. Just don't do harm to others. But what are the odds of not doing harm to others when you're doing unreasonable things on the road?
@arstechnica I wonder of all false information issues, why they decided to take action to this issue. Maybe because a huge amount of compensation money was expected? You might as well call their policy "money speech absolutinist."
