@rbreich Direct result of Mitch McConnell withholding approval of qualified Obama nominees until a Republican president was elected. That president was Trump, who nominated unqualified flunkies the Republican Senate blank checked because of the letter after the name of the president nominating them. Seems to have worked out really well for Trump, not so much for the American people.
@rbreich This is explicitly why spots were held open for Trump's appointees. This is what Republican success looks like after generations of actively working to lay the groundwork for an overtly fascist takeover.
@rbreich
why isn't jack smith and those on the anti-maga side doing anything about the situation? do the wheels of justice really turn slowly or is there just no driver in the vehicle this time?
@rbreich All true but really Merrick Garland slow walking the indictments is the original problem. They could have brought some of these charges in 2021 and they would have had more than enough time to get these trials finished. Garland didn't want to.
@rbreich Cannon has demonstrated her allegiance to the slob who appointed her time and time again. She tried to get a "special master" appointed but was reversed on appeal.
That was good work, still, I'd like to see a more aggressive stance from the prosecutor.
@rbreich We need court reform!! I want Biden to use his mandate once re-elected to do something about this disastrous super majority Supreme Court. The way Alioto, Kavanaugh, Gorsuch and the others jump in to try and help the lawyers doing Trump's bidding... the corruption is so obvious. It's disgusting.
Hate to point this out, but when you post things like this you make so much extra work for the punditutes STILL swearing justice is right around the corner...
