@rbreich
Panic is irrational. Be rational and find a good and competent replacement, preferably a female, who could possibly generate a bipartisan landslide by being able to personally address the range of issues with women’ health and men as experts at solving them.
@rbreich I am not understanding responses that practically paint @rbreich As a turncoat traitor to the party for doing nothing more than pointing out facts. Peculiar.
@rbreich Biden put democrats in the corner there's no exit. His arrogance and blindness to reality created the mess. He should have conceded to have open primary for all prospective democratic candidates. Several can beat him and Trump. Now we're stuck with an old man, while a good president, has lost touch with the times we live. We need a president to face our future and events in the world. Biden isn't it. He's better than Trump, but not level we need over the next four years.
@rbreich We vote Biden. It’s what the independent voters decided after last nights debate. And it’s what I decided even more forcefully after last nights debate. Trump lied and lied and lied and lied.
@rbreich unfortunately, Trump will be the next President (again) and the only ones to blame are the Democratic Party and the absolute stupidity to put Biden up for election.
If I didn't hate Trup so much, I would say, the Democrats will get what they deserve.
@rbreich Congratulations on your perfect performance as a useful idiot of the right. You know better Reich so do better.
We do now what we knew we had to do all along: remind people that Biden is doing a good job overall and that one debate changed nothing.
We remind people of how horrible Trump was as president and how much worse he plans to be if elected. Also that he is a convicted felon because he attempted to steal the last election.
@rbreich I would vote for Biden over Trump if the Biden were in a coma. So should anyone else who isn't a Nazi. Frankly I would think you would know better than anyone that the vote is NOT for a single person. ESPECIALLY in this case. The optics aren't great but screw the optics. When was the last time any Republican worried about such things? It's one single debate. March on.
@rbreich the custom of not having a real primary when there's an incumbent is a terrible thing for a coalition party, like the Democratic party. So sunk cost and an old man putting his ego first will likely be the end of us.
@rbreich We stop watching #CNN & #MSNBC, who, like cicadas, left their shells behind, becoming #FoxNews last night, allowing that lying sack of shit, the #Republican god, to spew lies and hate without fact-checking, with barely an interruption.
We stop parroting them. We're smarter than that. We don't want a Hubert Humphrey.
The losers were Jake Tapper, Dana Bash, CNN, MSNBC, & the 34-time felon they let fire up gun-toting fascists on national TV.
@rbreich All sane people in America side with the man who substantively won the debate, the only one who routinely answered debate questions, the one with four decades honorable civil service, side with him and help him defeat the rapist nazi traitor.
@rbreich
Biden never was my first choice, but the democratic party disagreed so this is who we have for a candidate. It is too late to change. He has done an okay job of running the country. Of course trumpers will jump on this and amplify it. It is up to us to stand behind Biden. Also it will be good to spotlight Kamela Harris more as his backup person.
Of course we stick with President Biden and do everything we can to help him win.
But why are in this pickle? It's because we had no better candidate than Biden in 2020. And THAT is because the Democrats put way, way too much emphasis on winning the White House, and not nearly enough on developing a bench.
The party's political chiefs do nothing to encourage the senior electeds to help bring up the next class.
