@georgetakei As you know there have been breakfast soups across east and south Asia through history, like
okayu (お粥)
juk (죽)
zhou (粥)
congee (கஞ்சி)
and so many more.

Love making mine with brown rice, ginger, lemon grass, garlic, and a good chicken broth. Yum. Send Adam my way and I'll make a fresh batch.

@georgetakei in a Tanzanian diner, breakfast can be a clear Chicken Soup with chilies and lime in the broth. Often served with tea and chapati.
