I don’t care if they install shot-spotter or not, it’s not like SPD is gonna fucking protect the public. There are shootings ALL AROUND spd south precinct and they rarely if ever respond.

Whenever I biked around Brooklyn I definitely felt safer in the protected bike lanes. I’ve always assumed that the people that bike around in Manhattan, especially Midtown, have a death wish. Biking down the narrow and packed streets in Park Slope was enough for me, biking down 5th Ave during rush hour was about as good as walking.
