Star Trek presence on Canvas growing! ( canvas.toast.ooo )

– The SNW command delta is complete.

– A user from another instance has taken the lead on an original Constitution-class.

– Worf has a wordmark.

The fandom is making a good showing (if not as overwhelming as the My Little Pony space).

If you haven’t yet tried (or succeeded) in dropping a pixel, just head to the Canvas and login identifying your instance and username. You’ll be sent a PM with a confirmation code to authenticate your login.

Once in you can just drop pixels or join a faction. So far there are two active Star Trek factions: Quark’s (short name QUARK) and The Klingon Empire (short name KLINK) that you can join.

I can see why you felt it necessary. The flags of Ireland has apparently grown into the wordmark.

I’ve started the IDIC.

There may be enough space for Gorkon to the left of the Klingon Imperial Symbol and at the right of the flag there.

Yes the chat doesn’t work regrettably, even within factions.

I think you’ve scaled the template slightly larger than I did. I tried it larger but it kept encroaching on both the work above and the StarTrek.website wordmark you led. I’ve been trying to pin the borders and the centre for others.

I’m adding a shuttlecraft to the Constitution-class. Should we name the vessel (the Constitution-class)?

Edit: The shuttle is more like a Captain’s Yacht in size…

This is the reference I was using for the Constitution class, feel free to add to it or make changes: canvas.toast.ooo/#x=104&y=593&scale=5.27&template…

If it’s not giving you a full URL to share for your own references, you can also just share the coordinates + image itself. For example mine is cdn.dribbble.com/users/7549/…/pixel-nc1701.png at coords (36,551) and width of 100.

Side question, does Canvas have chat? I see it in settings but don’t see UI to use it anywhere.

We are supposed to be able to chat within a faction with active members.

I haven’t been able to figure out how to make it work either. Since the admin is only available via an account on Matrix, and asking about basic functionality isn’t at all sensitive, it seemed better to reach out within the community for tips.

Yeah, except for that damned pus-filled boil that is the Osu logo. It’s a pox that never goes away. I despise every person involved with putting it there.

To be fair, its an open source game, so I don’t really mind that much. And the logo that’s here is already smaller than the original one lol.
