Maybe I should’ve just shut up and thought for a bit longer before writing that comment…

I felt like I can see larger moons at time.
Though I am not sure if it has to do with atmospheric effects or actual distance differences.

Anecdote from a relative of mine after changing from their previous unit to another after some incidents of bullying from their superior:

The relative was a well known person and often tells of situation when doctors and senior doctors with degrees came to my relative (a regular but experienced nurse) for advice.
As the relative was well known and also had a reputation it was probably less hard to build more connections (which are king).

This obviously heavily depends on the work place and co-workers. If your place is more hostile even a good competent reputation wont help you.

Let’s just nake it 128-Bit so it’s not our problem anymore.
Hell, let’s make it 256-Bit because it sounds like AES256

Now that is an event to talk about on Christmas eve.

[Help] Tips for sea life photos at aquariums?

I’ve been having issues getting decent photos of sea life at aquariums. I went to two different ones recently. I used a Canon R10 at both: for the first I took a 24 f/2.8 pancake lens and felt like the maximum aperture wasn’t providing enough light to autofocus fast enough. For the second trip, I used a 50 f/1.8 and that did...

Google Chromecast AndroidTV (what I use for Jellyfin) or FireTV stick (not sure about support).

I believe [email protected] meant a mini-pc to flash a type of AndroidTV like Linux OS on it.
Like a Raspi 0 with IR remote and a tv OS.

For those without knowledge: Alternatives to BTRFS are what? EXT4 or NTFS?

What are the alternatives to it? NTFS? EXT4? ExFAT? FAT32??

Seems like zfs or btrfs?
At least I usually read about storage file system usually being ZFS by default.

Plus many important third-party vulnerabilities: Android, Google Chrome, Firefox, Ivanti, SCADA, Citrix, Splunk, Notepad++, Juniper, Apple, Skype, WinRAR, Intel, AMD, and Siemens.

Don’t forget 7zip. Or did I miss that week?

What kind of card is it?
Depending if it’s on the PCIe riser or on the motherboard there are different possibilities.

Depending on how adventurous you are maybe repaste the heatsink?

Well: A very quick phone research brought me to that forum post and page: community.hpe.com/t5/…/3?nobounce

Seems like the question of “anyone else?” was solved with: “Yes, had the issue with the P420 controller.” 9 years ago.
You could try to see if the comments on Page 2 and 3 are of any help.

Hope I could assist your issue at least a little bit.

Seems like either repaste and/or change slot or a usb to pwm adapter could do it.

Maybe a PCIe powered PWM card? There is surely some kind of that on AliExpress for cheap. You should probably have enough spare pcie slots to do it.

I think this is the best I could find:
xcase.co.uk/…/asus-ipmi-expansion-card-w-dedicate…

www.newegg.com/…/376-0067-00009

But those two are not really what you are probably looking for.
I think you last and least janky solution outside of designing your own PCB would be a PWM to USB adapter.

Besides that, I saw some fan Hubs powered by Molex. If you have any sata or molex power in thr back of the server it might fit there and look more proper.
Remember though: If the airflow of the server fans are too great on the fan it could turn the fan and induce an electric energy into the circuit.

In case of Germany: Take a look on eBay Kleinanzeigen
In case of not Germany: Local craigslist or whatever the equivalent to it is for you.
