Depends on the surface. If it's stone or something, no probs, bleach will do it

If it's wood, ha ha no luck, it's a bastard to get rid of. Damn near impossible

Hugh_Jeggs ,

Yeah unfortunately it'll get into the grain of the wood and just keep reappearing once you clean it :(

Hugh_Jeggs ,

I like to use "stricken" to add an element of confusion

Hugh_Jeggs ,

Nope, the plastic triangle is the worktop support

Hugh_Jeggs ,

OP, the gold bit is what's holding it on. Normally there are one or two nuts on a small bit ot threaded rod

What's the chrome thing that looks like a socket at the top between the Flexi pipes? Grohe taps are really good quality, maybe you just loosen that with an Allen key?

Hugh_Jeggs ,

Grohe is a German company, that's not how taps work in Europe

The day I take financial advice from a YouTube video with a fucking stupid thumbnail is the day I start investing in chocolate teapots

Hugh_Jeggs ,

I have some wax fireguards you might be interested in

If it's getting damp and you're going the wood filler way, use the two-part stuff; it's like car body filler with a paste and a hardener. Stinks but it's faaaaar better than water based stuff

Hugh_Jeggs ,

Oh come on, everyone in normal countries knows that gun and tiny-penis truck ownership is directly correlated to miniscule genitalia, there's not really a surprise here
