Don’t let folks know about Kbin or it’ll start having load issues.

I'd pack some stainless steel wool around it before doing the expanding foam. This will prevent rodents from chewing through it, which they can do to the foam.

They make rodent-blocking foam but I trust the steel wool more

So he's going to limit his talent pool to people who both live within commuting distance and aren't good enough at their jobs to find remote work.

That's a bold choice.

Garek deserves a prequel series. What was tailor school like? Did he get grief for being into fashion instead of war games like other Cardassians? Did his family support his decision?

Anywhere outside of a city - really any city, even in blue states - is incredibly conservative. And because land gets votes and not people, this gives conservatives an overwhelming amount of power. Only once in the last thirty years has a Republican won the majority of votes, but thanks to the electoral college they've held the office for almost half the time.

I read the original blog post and I don't think the recommendations he gives the party are going to help.

If, as the data shows, more young people don't think politics are able to meet our challenges, how is better Tik Tok content going to convince them? Especially when we know that any legislative or executive initiative to help things is going to get stopped by a corrupt Supreme Court.

Considering the stranglehold that huge platforms have on users, it makes a lot of sense for organizations to have their own fediverse servers, with communities and access they control.

For example, a lot of governments use Twitter as a way to communicate in disaster situations. But since Elon lets anyone with a credit card have a check mark and bans people on a whim you can't trust that the account is a real one or that it won't be cut off in time of need. A Mastodon server would solve both of these problems.
