Honestly all new lenovos have been giving me issues, webcams break, stop charging, except for those black thinkpads… This one suddenly decided to go display Chinese text and display goes black randomly
I used to have that issue, my screen would flash 6 times and display a bunch of symbols like those. Gave me a burning headache and next thing I know, I’m waking up in an alley of an unfamiliar city halfway across the globe with somebody else’s blood coating my hands and clothes.
Better hope it’s one of those “spirit of the [wish]” friendly genies and not the pissed off used-to-be-a-lawyer ones who achieve geniedom by curse or trap. Should be some sort of ethical code where a wish isn’t consumed if no significant change is made.
To be fair, who hasn’t set down the half squirrel they were gnawing on and forgotten about it? Maybe the half squirrel and half rabbit were supposed to go together and make an even more fun animal to maim and kill play with. Cute little Dogtor Frankenstein.
Understandable. I am familiar with the experience, it comes with the territory when inviting a dog (or cat, for that matter) to be part of your family from time to time.
This is dumb. Are these angry tech workers less able to feed, clothe and house themselves and their families? It’s like the crabs in a bucket thing but these crabs already climbed out and are sad to see others making it over the rim.
Somebody should tell them about that software you can use for video teleconferences in case that opens up options for remote work. Can’t remember what it’s called though.
They’re among the deadliest but you still have things like Drop Bears to worry about. You can see one being handled here with the appropriate protective gear. Note how it reflexively begins seeking its next potential prey in this frame captured just before the carnage unfolded. The rest of the video is out there but I don’t recommend looking for it*.
This is Doug, and I took this photo at my vet’s office a few years ago. I was waiting for my dog to be brought back out, looked up, and there he was! It still makes me smile to this day and I hope he makes you smile too! (Don’t forget to read his sign!)
