Arguably one of the best moments in the SNW Musical episode subspace rhapsody was Bruce Horak Cameo as the captain of the Klingon boy band. But there is a deleted scene of the opera version that while absolutly best scene won, would be fun to see released to fans
“One day, in the deleted scenes, you will see there’s an alternate version of that, which is opera,” Goldsman tells TVLine. “But [co-showrunner Henry Alonso Myers] and I were very much married to the boy band thing.”
I mean, the opera version was 100% what I was expecting, although I guess in retrospect there was no specific reason to suspect that. The boy band version was, however, the funniest/best version possible
This isn’t a standard tree trimming practice, because it looks like total shit and is guaranteed to fuck up the growth pattern. No city would pay to do this to their trees.

Andrew Robinson clarified later on that Garak’s first interaction with Bashir was 100% hitting on him and his character was intended to be pan at first. They made the characters so close in early seasons because they were building up to an actual onscreen Garashir romance, IIRC. I personally thought it was a bit odd on my first watch through, I noticed they were being paired especially close together, but then nothing came of it. But on later watch throughs it’s easy to see that they totally were going in that direction. It only didn’t happen because Rick Berman put a stop to it and sometime around season 4 or so you’ll notice they both suddenly drift apart and get girlfriends. In Garak’s case, a totally implausible and forced relationship with Ziyal.
It could have been a groundbreaking 90’s gay romance, but they pulled back from it.

I enjoyed it. La’an is very much growing on me, and Pelia has immediately become my favorite character.
Enjoying the episodes that delve deeply into specific characters. Probably one of the best things about older treks that Discovery and Picard didn’t do well.
I saw that as well! I’m assuming Pelia remembers, there’s no reason why she wouldn’t other than that it was so long ago. But then again, La’an walking onto the bridge in the exact same outfit from before might have jogged her memory.
