In a misguided effort to be "unbiased," most news media have stopped calling Trump's Big Lie about the 2020 election what it is. Instead they're using terms like "false statements" or "claims without evidence."

Memo to the media: Calling out lies isn't "biased." It's your job.

Trump insists on calling Manhattan DA Alvin Bragg "Soros backed" (posting the phrase at least 3x in the last 24 hours).

George Soros did not endorse or contribute to Bragg. By falsely connecting them, Trump is playing into a range of baseless antisemitic conspiracy theories.

Every day the Supreme Court fails to make a decision in Trump’s immunity case is effectively a decision in his favor.

They're acting like an arm of Trump's campaign by letting him run out the clock on his prosecution.

Call me crazy, but maybe presidents who get themselves indicted shouldn't have their criminal trials presided over by judges they themselves appointed.

@rbreich In the netherlands, you can "challenge" a judge if you think they are not impartial. A case like this would be impossible in the Netherlands. But judges aren’t been chosen by politicians directly by the way.

Two years ago today, the Dobbs decision was leaked.

No matter how hard he tries, Donald Trump can’t sidestep his role in abortion being banned for millions.

In 2016 he pledged to remake the Supreme Court with nominees who would overturn Roe v. Wade.

He is directly responsible.

Let's be clear. There is no place for antisemitic harassment or violence on campuses or anywhere else. None.

But protesting the slaughter in Gaza is not in itself antisemitic, and having armed police arrest peaceful student demonstrators is never acceptable.

@rbreich Dus @nos neem hier goede notie van. Want in jullie berichtgeving komt dit pas aan het eind van het artikel terug. Het gaat niet om de betalingen, dat is niet verboden maar het vervalsen van je boekhouding wel. Alsook het doel om het uit de campagne te houden als ongewenste inmenging in de verkiezingen .
