The uniform here is interesting, because the comic takes place after DS9, but before “Nemesis”, around 2377. Other than the crews of the Theseus, and Defiant, characters wear the “First Contact” uniforms, yet Shaw and the other Starfleets we see on this cover are wearing the early DS9/VOY uniforms.
Obviously there could be some time travel shenanigans, which would place this in 2373 at the latest. Shaw was an ensign during the Battle of Wolf 359 in 2366, and on this cover we see him rocking commander pips, so he would have progressed up the ranks in about seven years. Obviously a thing that can happen in Trek, as we’ve seen, but somewhere in the Delta Quadrant Harry Kim just punched a bulkhead and has no idea why.
You (and everyone else) were previously able to vote on bug. However, devs doesn’t really care about those vote. A bug was not prioritize because of it’s amount of vote which was confusing for some users. So, vote was disable entirely, hence why you receive those email
They usually estimate the severity themselve or bump it if they see a lot of duplicate (doesn’t mean you should duplicate on purpose)
There’s a difference between a severe bug and a bug that a lot of people would want to see resolve.
But at the end of the day, keep in mind they all dev do it because they want to, nobody force them, so we should be glad to have what we already have imo

Yeah, it would be great if that would be taken into consideration as well.

Several developers are being paid to work on KDE software from money me and others spent.
Agreed, one of the best episodes of the series and Trek as a whole.
The only weak point is how they went back to Talax like it was nothing. Sure they had a vote about it, but it wasn’t a big deal. But the impression I got is that they were high tailing it to Earth and were well on their way.
Unless they were really lucky and Talax was somehow on route to Earth it would basically mean going back to the beginning and starting over. This would be a huge fucking deal and no matter how much people love Neelix and want to do the right thing, adding this much extra time going back to the start would be a tough choice. Then when it didn’t pan out, I would be fucking pissed. Like what the hell Janeway, maybe not trust every rando you come across and take a super long detour because of something they say? But it’s shrugged off like it was no big deal.
This juxtaposition is something Voyager struggles with the entire series. Many of the creators have stated to that affect. They want to make it seem like Voyager is super far from home, but not that far it would simply be impossible for them to get back. But at the same time, just having the ship at high warp all the time, only stopping at gas giants to refuel would be super boring. They also may have people going stir crazy, but the holodeck could help with that. Especially since at the in universe stated speeds Voyager could reach, they would get home faster than stated. In terms of budget and writing, it would become a huge challenge to have new species all the time. They want to have established characters and story arcs. If Voyager would just zoom through everything that’s hard to do.
Especially with the Kazon this became a huge issue. They were presented as almost barbarian, with little resources. Yet somehow a super fast ship was in their territory for months. Ships were even somehow able to outpace Voyager, with the same characters showing up at multiple points in the journey. Were all the Kazons lined up in a long string with Voyager flying along it? Or was Voyager flying in circles? It makes no sense.
This whole space is huge but also really small when the plot demands it is a weak point of the show and that episode. But otherwise it’s a great story.
Yeah convenient for the plot but completely illogical. I mean the Borg showing up was fine with transwarp conduits, but it never made any sense how the same baddies showed up all the time. I’m looking at you, Seska.
Welp, looks like that's the end for Squabblr. Most of the front page is people hating on this decision and announcing plans to go to Discuit (another non-fediverse Reddit alternative). Turns out that, if there's an equal alternative to go to, people WON'T stick around when you let in fascists and bigots.
And he is so eager doing so. Looks like the most important task all day with him runnig up to the path. He puts everything he got into smashing that ball onto the concrete as hard as he possibly can and is all fluffed up when that thing inevitably comes down again to nearly hit him. Almost like a toddler.
It is absolutely just more cost effective, safer and better piece of mind to just replace the breaker. I'll take that route 99.99% of the time.
If you feel adventurous, there are a couple of ways to test that breaker without proper test equipment. The risks could be zero OR you blow your face off and burn your house down.
Find an open outlet at tap live to ground. This will produce some natural and organic indoor fireworks, but it should trip the breaker. If it doesn't, there is a small risk of welding the wires together and creating a very strange short condition, turning that entire circuit into a new heat strip. (Free money!)
Find two 1800W space heaters and together, on the same circuit, they should trip the breaker as well. (Breakers should be rated to at least 1800W.) This is problematic as well and I'll explain. There is something magical about space heaters as I have seen 2 or 3 run off of the same circuit before. I suspect that if a breaker is slowly warmed up due to heavy load it will change its characteristics, causing it to only trip at higher loads. (Absolute speculation on my part!) By default, I would replace the breaker if I saw that kind of load. Extended, and higer heat cycles will eventually damage the breaker.
Oh yeah all the time. Sometimes while doing it for a while they start licking each other which ends in fighting haha. They are a bonded pair who lived in a cat hostel in Detroit
