Isn’t it one of the requirements when registering as a Republican candidate that you swear you’ll vote for whoever wins the RNC nomination, even if it’s not you? Or is that just something they were talking about doing?
They did make them sign a loyalty oath in the 2016 election, because they assumed Trump would lose the nomination and then start his own party or, at the very least, continue bashing the other candidates.
Headline is crap, he deflected the question by answering that he doesn’t believe Trump will be the nominee. Sure he hasn’t “ruled it out”, but any other response would imply he thinks Trump will win.
Or he could say "I will not vote for trump if he's the Republican nominee" if he wasn't a coward. Deflecting away from the question might as well answer it in the affirmative. As is, he's just pussyfooting around saying he won't vote for the guy who encouraged the mob that wanted to hang him, so anything less than condemnation might as well be tacit consent...
Why are most mainstream Republicans such abject fucking cowards? I would think that mother would have told Mikey he's not allowed to vote for the guy who ginned up a mob to shout they wanted to hang him, but apparently he'd rather swing than admit his former boss is a monster.
I'd love to find more than one republican with a spine not made out of jello...
God, please no. The FBI and assorted intelligence agencies took years to recover from the Trump-era employee scramble. I’ve had enough of “what if ____ were unqualified,” I’m ready for “what if ____ were overwhelmingly qualified?”
Everything short of admitting to whatever dumb bullshit the conservatives are vomiting up today is a cover up or attempt to get in the way of them wasting money on something with less behind it than Benghazi.
I really dont get why we are wasting time and tax dollars on him...hes not an official in any capacity so if he did something wrong charge him with it and move on...and if not then still move on...
Full disclosure: I identify as very far left; effectively socialist.
Republicans: seriously, and without irony: if you have the evidence, go for it. If he did something shitty and sketchy, he deserves to be caught. But that applies to everyone, not just to people who you don’t like.
