Of course they have. During the '08 election the GOP state rules committee in my state went so far as to make a rule that only a single delegate could be on the ballot for each county and that the central state party leadership would pick those candidates. The elected representatives at the state convention were literally given a ballot with a single name on it and told that write ins were not allowed. Any ballot altered beyond voting for the single candidate provided would be discarded.
The GOP doesn’t actually value democratic principles. It’s authoritarianism all the way down.

I’m not sure it even matters if he was “really” referring to Cohen, the fact that he’s under a gag order to protect people means he should STFU. Every word he says, intentionally or “not”, is potentially dangerous to the people involved. Isn’t that the whole point of a gag order? Don’t talk about the specifics of the trial, you can say it’s unfair or whatever but the specifics are too dangerous to reveal. Why aren’t his lawyers stopping him from saying this stuff? They’re going to lose by contempt of court or something at this rate. Come to think of it, Alex Jones did the same thing in his trial.

Rats and sinking ships have never gone well together. I sure hope this rat gets what he deserves by enabling such an incompetent and completely unqualified president and administration. I also hope his turning on trump is instrumental in his downfall.
spoiler CWI had a coloured friend once when I was nine and susceptible. Thank goodness that my mother (now a local leader in Moms for Liberty) was there to beat some sense into me. Who knows what I might have been if I continued down that path.
