I was tempted to do that many many years ago when my daughter was 13. We asked her what she wanted written on the cake for her party and she said "whatever" Heard that and ""I don't care" many times. Wonder how she will react when her daughter starts the eyerolling and curt comments. Was such a bonding experience.
I finally regained more than one brain cell when she was in her 20's.
@georgetakei I have an 11yrold granddaughter who's going on to become an attitude of a normal teenager. She ate a package of Raman Noodles minus the soup package. It's just hard and dried, like what sustains us in our college dorm room Sunday nights.
@georgetakei To be fair I’m 40 and if anyone asked what I want written on my birthday cake I’d probably say the same thing. Either that or I’d say I’d rather have pie.
