It’s a big reason I stopped playing until 1.0 is released. Way too much of a time sink. That I thoroughly enjoy… but still… I only have so much to give.
Since I can’t read lawyer speak very well, can someone sum up why it was considered a first amendment failing?
It can understand why forcing sites to display the warning would be a violation, but the basic wording of “reasonable age verification method” doesn’t seem to be a first amendment violation to my understanding.
Note: I am not disagreeing with this outcome, I just don’t understand how it’s specifically a first amendment violation.
They absolutely better have a William Boimler episode this season. I will be very disappointed if they don’t.
I’m hoping for a fun romp where William takes Brad along on a dark op. With Tendi. Cause her dark op sequence was just terrific. I love seeing that Orion pirate it up.
While I agree that Trek is all about finding common ground, I just hope they don’t humanize the Gorn too much. While I’m no Trekologist I don’t think the Gorn become “friendly” until much later in the time line (like late TNG era). Someone nerdier than me please correct me if I’m wrong.
I’m a little alone on this from what I can see from various forums, but I like the hideous and alien format of this iteration of the Gorn. I hope they continue to at least Cold War this relationship for another season or five.
Thanks. I honestly couldn’t recall them in any official canon. But I am playing STO at the moment and they’re in that as allies of the Klingons so I assumed there was more to their story that I just wasn’t remembering.
As a kid i loved watching the next generation and deep space 9 with my dad. Ive always liked sci fi, more of a (stargate fan) and wanted to get back into star trek, but Im just so lost on timelines and whats going on. There are like 6 kirks and I have no idea how/where to get started with watching this again.
I, and many others, think this is great Trek. I’m just curious if you can articulate what you find un-Trek about this show.
FTR: All other Trek we’ve had so far has been essentially from the perspective of the elite of the Trek universe. Now we’re just seeing the universe from the “worker class”. It’s just a different perspective, but still holds to the ideals of Roddenberry Trek I feel.
I also suggest Strange New Worlds. It’s the best Trek since TNG (imo). There are certainly some silly parts and some episodes do lean a little more towards comedy then I’d like in my Trek, but even still. It’s good Trek.
Does anyone else lose all track of time while playing this game?

I say “alleged” because this has not been corroborated by any other sites that I’ve seen, but this site’s track record is pretty good.
