Oh, yeah, I remember him at GenCon in the mid-90s! Signing glossies at his table between two huge private security guys while he talked the rudest shit about the fans in line to shell out $20 minimum. Never about the one standing in front of him that I could tell, always the ones half a dozen spots back, but he was so impressively drunk you could smell it before you even got on deck. I stepped away from the line and just watched the spectacle for a while before finding something better, but I didn’t miss him getting into it with a couple fans and the security guys “helping” him up to take a break. 😅🤷🏼‍♂️

The vast majority are made by children, however, and the model itself is designed for expressly this. Whether adult-aged children also engage with said model is less a condemnation of those individuals and more a merit of the system itself working better than intended, given that this era offers multiple sources for that exploitable demographic. Sickening, sad, and deplorable, yes. Call it what it is, though.

the point of having a justice system is other than for it to be used on “lesser” folk.

This has always been the case. See citations with fines = poor tax. Or, public defenders. Or, the SCoTUS having been saturated in corruption for decades now — if ever there were a moment it wasn’t, in fact. Or, any one of the myriad ways the justice system is anything but

It doesn’t matter if he suddenly suicides by double-tap and a 17 story swan dive. This country’s a hair’s breadth from full-on, unfettered fascism, and then our oh-so precious Democracy™ will be well & truly fucked. We should all, worldwide, be thinking of what we do at that point, not crossing fingers Drumpf gets his just desserts. (Though that would certainly be refreshing, yes.)

To be fair, “hammered” is more accurate. You had my interest piqued though, with “punched”. I was half-expecting some ancient Shao-Lin kungfoolery. Still, impressive and a neat effect, I agree. 🤙🏼
