So they pull him over for a valid reason, arguments occur, he flees the scene, they stop him, he starts shooting, they shoot back. About the only different thing they could have done is call off the pursuit if they knew his address, but there's no way to know if the idiot would have then done or caused something worse (like an auto accident from the erratic driving)

Arguably one of the best moments in the SNW Musical episode subspace rhapsody was Bruce Horak Cameo as the captain of the Klingon boy band. But there is a deleted scene of the opera version that while absolutly best scene won, would be fun to see released to fans
