Good. Your police department is more heavily armed than some militaries and you can’t stop one guy?

TexMexBazooka ,

Brown sugar water

TexMexBazooka ,

You just generalized a state larger than most countries, even worse, you did it in a community of people that are the most likely to want things to change for the better.

Shut the fuck up and take the bigotry elsewhere

TexMexBazooka ,

I agree about inept and malicious leadership, I’m telling you not to be an asshat to the population that doesn’t agree with that leadership, especially if you want anybody to take your side on anything.

A good rule in life: don’t be a dick

TexMexBazooka ,

They said we could have rolling blackouts

TexMexBazooka ,

really who does 100% effort all of the time?

Idiots

TexMexBazooka ,

Most women.

It creates such a weird environment because women bashing men has become a very socially accepted if not encouraged thing. In some cases that’s not bad, but it’s putting young men just emerging into a world of social media in a position where they feel they’re being viewed as the bad guy.

That’s why you have all these far right influencers scooping up young guys and feeding them all the validation they aren’t getting in a positive way from the society around them.

Idk I don’t have a solution but I do have a little boy and trying to teach him to navigate the world keeps me awake at night.

TexMexBazooka ,

I mean it’s not really about who started it. The goal is to create a more equitable society right? So demonizing men-young men in particular—doesn’t really achieve that goal.

I’d even argue that doing so will do exactly the opposite. Young men with delicate identities aren’t receiving positive reinforcement about their being from any direction unless they already have a strong role model.

There is the big big big underlying issue that a lot of men really, really suck and make it impossible to create systems that will provide that reinforcement… so guys just have to figure it out.

TexMexBazooka ,

Men are scary. They’re almost always bigger, stronger, and more impulsive. Testosterone is a bitch.

To send you tax information, mostly. This is a stupid thing to be mad about.

Capability, skill set, and proof of work

TexMexBazooka ,

It varies wildly, but at the end of the day its about skills being rare and valuable. People with rare skills, who can prove they have those skills, and can consistently perform complex/difficult tasks and be reliable are what I would consider “top tier”

Asking for some specific defined standard is being pedantic. The standard is being capable of things that others are not, and that’s true across any industry. Each one will have its own measurements (certifications, work portfolios, references, etc.) by which those are defined.

TexMexBazooka ,

What am I certified in and how is that certification even relevant to the conversation at hand?

This is a silly question

That means anyone and everyone who does difficult work or is capable of difficult work falls in that category.

You’re getting there

TexMexBazooka ,

Not only look down on, but accuse younger generations of being “disrespectful” for not accepting them same level of exploitation from them.

TexMexBazooka ,

Because either A: it’s viewed as creepy or

B: no one cares

TexMexBazooka ,

Hard no, they are extremely sensitive and ban happy

TexMexBazooka ,

We would get banned for acknowledging men can have problems

TexMexBazooka ,

Need a bit more info. As far as user data, OneDrive just handles it. You can even recover deleted files and access file history.

What exactly is needing backed up? Are you only concerned about the data, or do you want to have image level backups for every user so you save applications and other configurations as well?

TexMexBazooka ,

The whole point of a cloud platform is that user data is in the cloud, what you’re going for here is redundant

TexMexBazooka ,

We also make use of cove. I’m relatively new to it.

Are we the only shop with constant login bullshit on Office 365 desktop apps?

We are facing constant problems with the desktop apps in O365, wheter it’s RDS servers that somehow are Azure joined by a user from login 1001 errors to modern authentication Windows that automatically disappear or other generic error 1001 logon bullshit. We have a tome of registry bullshit with shit like EnableADAL to...

TexMexBazooka ,

I’ve run into a lot of issues stemming from people creating personal Microsoft with the same email as their O365 email(why Microsoft? Fucking why do we even allow this?)

So they’ll mess around and log into their personal on one app and their work email on another, and then everything goes to shit because I guess Microsoft doesn’t quite grasp that having two accounts to very similar systems that have the exact same username is asinine.

Anyway, make sure you remove every account from the system, including removing the device from any azure domain, rejoin, and hand hold users through signing it.

TexMexBazooka ,

We’ve had it cause all sorts of crazy fucking problems. Let me know if you figure it out

TexMexBazooka ,

It’s easy:

Are you requesting I as a worker dedicate any part of my time, and/or usage of my personal resources to accomplish something for YOUR business? Yes it’s part of the work day.

TexMexBazooka ,

If you live three hours from your workplace you should work remotely or get another job lol

TexMexBazooka ,

Either:

A: compensate them equally and let Bob leave 20 minutes earlier and arrive 20 minutes later

B: compensate them equally for to traveled, meaning Bob would be compensated for 35 minutes and Alice 10.

C: pass through the tax deduction that I would get if it were company vehicle (xyz a mile) to the employee directly

If they’re putting their time and their equipment to show up for my business they should be compensated. Period.
