Those of us who were not born into fabulous wealth and privilege tend to be, skeptical to say the least, of those were when they start waxing philosophical about the dangers of wealth and power being concentrated in the hands of an elite few.

Also, her facile defense of “political correctness” frames the problem as one of overly-sensitive viewers.

The actual problem is assholes who make the vulnerable and marginalized the object of their mockery.

Corrupted SCOTUS judges are an obvious symptom of the actual disease: A catastrophic infection of parasitic species known as the billionaire class.

The only known cure will have terrible side effects, but will be necessary if there is to be a civilization worthy of the name.

Seinfeld is just another rich old white guy yelling at the new neighbors moving in. He didn't invent the art and isn’t its gate keeper.

His insistence that comedy should make people uncomfortable is only believable if comedians are not exempt from being uncomfortable.

If comedians feel uncomfortable performing their material, it says as much about them as it does society at large. Lenny Bruce anyone????
