Yes the chat doesn’t work regrettably, even within factions.
I think you’ve scaled the template slightly larger than I did. I tried it larger but it kept encroaching on both the work above and the StarTrek.website wordmark you led. I’ve been trying to pin the borders and the centre for others.
If it’s not giving you a full URL to share for your own references, you can also just share the coordinates + image itself. For example mine is cdn.dribbble.com/users/7549/…/pixel-nc1701.png at coords (36,551) and width of 100.
Side question, does Canvas have chat? I see it in settings but don’t see UI to use it anywhere.
We are supposed to be able to chat within a faction with active members.
I haven’t been able to figure out how to make it work either. Since the admin is only available via an account on Matrix, and asking about basic functionality isn’t at all sensitive, it seemed better to reach out within the community for tips.
Didn’t know this was a thing so I visited the canvas and saw it’s completely overrun by MLP. I guess I now know the demographics of the average Lemmy user.
Yeah, except for that damned pus-filled boil that is the Osu logo. It’s a pox that never goes away. I despise every person involved with putting it there.
There’s still more to fill in on the SNW Command Delta, and we have members with ambitions for a Klingon presence too.

Hopefully, by the time I start the Klingon imperial symbol, I’ll have figured out how to share the template link properly. The fun is in the collaboration!
I have no difficulty on my IOS phone. I’ve done it all that way. ( It may be why I’m having difficulty sharing the url with the pinned template though.)
You do have to login through Lemmy to get started. Then you have to choose the colour of the pixel to enable it.
