President Biden's popularity is lower in a number of key swing states than his national average, according to a series of surveys conducted by a polling company, a blow to his reelection hopes.
The Civiqs polls, conducted between January 2021 and May 2024, gave Biden an average net approval of -22, a better performance than he recorded in the swing states of Pennsylvania, Nevada, Arizona, Georgia and Michigan, which could decide November's presidential election.
Biden is expected to face off in November against Donald Trump, the former president and presumptive Republican candidate, in a rematch of their bitter 2020 contest.
However, Biden performed worse in several of the states widely expected to swing the election, with a net approval rating of -25 in Pennsylvania, -28 in Nevada, -32 in Arizona, -27 in Georgia, and -24 in Michigan, all of which the Democrat won in 2020.
Trump has come under fire after claiming that "Human Scum" are "working so hard to destroy Our Great Country" in a Memorial Day post on Truth Social.
Separately, conservative X accounts shared footage that they said showed Biden asleep with his eyes shut at a Memorial Day event at the Arlington National Cemetery.

Quite annoying it doesn't have a stop in Austin or San Antonio. A ton of people commute from San Antonio to Austin daily and I bet most people would still rather drive all the way from SAT to DFW rather than drive to HOU and leave their car.
PS: Houston Amtrak Station itself is a nightmare to find nestled under the intersection of I-10 and I-45. Hope they get a new one in a location better accessible by transit with the High Speed Line.
I can't remember who I heard it from, or where I read it, but if it's the same proposal, then it starts North West off 290 after the 99 loop. Then angles its way North East to DFW with some stops for places like Waco.
I wonder if it's dawning on some of them that supporting Russia, a country with an economy the size of the Netherlands and Belgium, is probably less profitable than supporting the US defense industry and selling weapons to markets which make Russia look like Burkino Faso with nukes.
I mean, ignoring the morality or right and wrong of it all, since that's less relevant to some of these ghouls.
If you actually talk to some of those people as people (person to person, just shooting the shit, not questioning or obviously gathering intel or anything) and the subject comes up, they’ll straight up tell you that.
Keep in mind there that the Russian population is literally 10 times bigger than the Netherlands, and that the territory size (which they need to defend and all) is over 400 times bigger.
Russia is coming this far by acting like an asshole, posturing like they are strong whilst they are really weak, and just plain cheating where possible.
One wonders why the Republican party likes them so much…
