If money werenât an issue, I could understand it. You could invite friends and/or family to come over and stay as long as theyâd like. If you wanted some time to yourself, they wouldnât even have to leave, they could just stay in one of the guest-houses for a while.
You could have any kind of special hobby room you wanted. Martial arts dojo? Sure. Home theater? Sure. Laser tag room? Sure. Dance studio? Why not? Kitchen with every kind of tool, multiple ovens, multiple stoves? Of course! Workshop? Why not. Cozy knitting room with every kind of yarn imaginable? Great!
Some kind of good cause you wanted to support? Give them an entire wing of the place. Feel bad for a marginalized group like refugees? Hand over one of the many buildings for their use.
Overall, the world would probably be a better place if no person / family had this much wealth. But, that doesnât mean that Iâd hate to have a place like that if I happened to be insanely wealthy.
Yeah, working on yourself makes you resilient, but it definitely doesnât make you unstoppable. Like Picard said, âIt is possible to commit no mistakes and still lose.â
The amount of people who canât realize this is satire from the (Letâs hop into a 5 min call) alone is insane. Like bruh Iâm literally autistic and have trouble with telling when things are a joke and even I realized.
She looks like sheâs from the generation that did a lot of those things early in childhood but then discovered the power of the Nintendo Entertainment System.
Also letâs be honest: If her kids skipped school to be with their lovers, she wouldnât support this at all. She probably wouldnât even support kids skipping school to be politically active.
What even is he suggesting? I don't apply for jobs online? How and where does he think you are suppose to get jobs then. Strap on my job helmet and squeeze down into a job cannon and fire off into Jobland where jobs grow on jobbies
This is almost incoherent. I think this âgrindsetâ group of people is actually just individuals with undiagnosed cerebral clotting. How many of them die within 48 hours of posting? I think itâs worth investigating.
This is also not about productivity because cramming in more work hours into the workweek and extending it will decrease the output per time, productivity, since thereâs more time at a similar weekly output now. Productivity would automate or intensify work tasks which of course creates other problems.
The drive to work more sounds like a good idea on its face however as someone who has tried that tactic I can tell you it wonât rapidly take an impact on your mental health. You will not be rewarded for your extra output but be reprimanded anytime the stress makes you perform subpar.
From my experience 32 hours is works best for me and will allow me to maintain my highest output. Additional hours after that will actually lower my output overall in the long run.
The other reason itâs not a good idea is because when one person does it it becomes the expectation every time you give an employer free time you weaken the bargaining power of your peers and you may see it as rewards for your efforts but I guarantee that we all lose in the end, you will get paid less than what you deserve you will get less free time than you deserve for your efforts. Capitalism only rewards shareholders.
