I’ve never bothered to check out the King5 website before now and let me tell you, I wont be back. Shit website giving me popups even with ublock and adblock. Guess i don’t need to read it.
Here’s a video of the troll being built, to counteract my saltiness about the shitty website:
KING5 is the worst news website in Seattle, certainly. Even KOMO — a Sinclair station, so the news is frequently slanted toward nuttiness — has a workable website that doesn’t slap users in the face like KING5.
I thought you were referencing the other post about the troll and I had both open. My bad, I agree King and Komo are both ass. Kiro is wishy washy considering they sponser mynorthwest.
The Sound Transit Board also blew off the concerns of Seattle Subway and Transit Equity For All when they decided to torch $170M in funds (and 2 whole years) to study precisely how terrible an idea it will be to eliminate useful stations in place of putting a transit stop on the doorstep of the city jail and a BMW dealership instead of in the middle of the CID. And also rob midtown (First Hill) of their connecting station.
At the monthly meeting, the board also approved $122 million in additional studies for the Ballard Link extension, which some transit advocates, including advocacy group Seattle Subway, argued were of dubious value and should be rejected.
I have my account setup to auto-deduct if I get lower then $10, refreshing an extra $100. I don’t have any sticker - just the plate, make, and model in my account. Since setting this up years ago I have not had any issues.
Might have to reach out to their help team to figure out wtf is going on?
Obviously not to the same scale or anything like that, but re-pc has a nice little computer history exhibit. Plus they have a huge selection of second hand electronics. Fun to sort through if you check it out every couple of months.
