It’s going to take most of a day to do that “right” because they will need to remove a huge chunk and replaced all the material. Don’t believe these people saying a new door will be the same… A decent exterior door costs $500 alone and install will cost at least that again.

That being said, I’d just replace the door. I recently replaced my front and garage doors myself. It’s not as hard as you’d think. I spent like 4-6 hours on each. I did run into some leveling compound (cement type stuff) that leaked in from my flooring that I had to chip out on the front door.

I bought a “cheap” prehung exterior door recently it was like $300 I think. There’s absolutely no way it would be cheaper to just replace the whole door. Especially if you want a decent looking door.

Although Henry Ford was a fucking Nazi, he had a lot of good common sense business and economic points. He made sure all of his employees could easily afford the cars they were building and it made an empire.

How did we get to this point where a large portion of the country somehow believes workers shouldn’t be able to afford to buy anything?

Oh look, a version of the article everyone seems to put out regularly for the last 2+ years or so. My mortgage is a 3.125% rate. If I move and buy the same house my payment goes up 50% just on interest. They’ll drag my dead body out of this house with current interest rates.

This is literally the vast majority of homeowners right now. No one is selling. Inventory levels have been at historic lows for a reason. The only way the housing market sees a significant downturn is if the economy as a whole eats shit and people can’t pay their mortgages.

Love this headline, except I have 3 friends who got laid off in the last six months and everyone seems to be on a hiring/raise freeze. So, sick job market dude!

If they keep pretending the economy is good I fucking swear I’m not going to bother voting. Shit was literally better economically for everyone I know under Trump. I don’t think Trump had anything to do with it, but please, just shut the fuck up. It’s not something you should be running on.

The final straw on my reddit use was getting banned for a week, from some innocuous semi sarcastic comment I made. Had to reread it like 12 times to make sure that is what I got banned for. The mods are clearly overwhelmed. I almost want to make some burner accounts and go report a bunch of people, say some nasty stuff just to ad to the shit show. It’s super obvious over there how much worse the mod situation is if you just read some comments.

They’re still around to use as bullshit “probable cause” to hassle and search people’s cars for drugs. Because the war on drugs was a good idea, and dogs have not repeatedly been shown to be complete bullshit. They indicate when their handler wants them to. It’s been proven so many times.
