And if that doesn't do it, try the trick I learned for cleaning the cutting boards at Subway. Lay down paper towel over stain, pour straight bleach on the paper. Let it stand overnight. The paper keeps the bleach in place and it won't dry as fast. A little harsh, but it works.

We had plastic cutting boards that covered the entire length of the counter that would become stained and dirty through the day despite being wiped down after almost every order. And since sanitization is vitally important at a restaurant, they needed to be cleaned somehow. The boards would be rinsed and wiped down every morning before use.

I wasn’t even aware of Lemmy when I wrote this. I only joined yesterday, but not for the intent of promoting my pieces. I don’t monetize them, so there’s that. Aside from book work, this is one of the longest pieces I’ve ever written, and I write about a range of subjects. I hope you all like it :)

It's all a huge fucking game, and you only learn the rules as you play and only if you pay close attention. Best to keep your head down and just comply quietly...until you can find something better before the next round of layoffs.

The important thing to remember is that she's still a teacher. She's just not teaching children anymore, since it doesn't pay enough. This should be a wake up call to most people...

If I get up at 4am, I'm going to bed at 8pm. So I'm not saving any time, I'm stealing time from my evening to work in the morning. That's what it ultimately comes down to...stealing personal time to spend on working...

Bonehead ,

That's not the same thing at all. You're already getting up at 4am normally on Friday, and you apparently only work 4 and a half days a week. This meme assumes you work 9-5 5 days a week, and advocates that you spend more time outside those hours working.

Watch it...it's not scary or anything, just really hard to keep track of all the time jumping. Interesting concept though...

Instead, they repromote Paris, and when Kim asks why he didn't see a little box on his desk this morning everyone promptly ignores him.

Hot take: 18 years of user contributions to reddit will serve as a base model for an AI that generates content and conversations. the reddit experience continues as a simulation, to harvest clicks, sales and ad revenue. ( kbin.social )

most of the time you'll be talking to a bot there without even realizing. they're gonna feed you products and ads interwoven into conversations, and the AI can be controlled so its output reflects corporate interests. advertisers are gonna be able to buy access and run campaigns. based on their input, the AI can generate...
