OpenTTD is one of my favorite Linux Mint applications. Not only is it absolutely free to play but it’s pretty straightforward to get into. Let’s take a look together if you haven’t checked it out before!

OpenTTD (Open Transport Tycoon Deluxe) - Linux Mint

You’d like Factorio

I get why people dislike them, because they definitely are a very overwhelming monopoly. But despite that, they really provide very essential tools that are very easily accessible and free. I do like them as a company, so I haven’t been too worried by the fact they are a huge monopoly that dominates a big portion of the web. They’ve handled the responsibility pretty well.

Another AI except they for some reason made it exclusively available through a proprietary children social media chatroom?

mojo ,

I really couldn’t get into KDE before. I’ll give it another go when 6 comes out.

I’m shaking and crying and shitting myself. Please noo not the buff god emperor Donald trump, I don’t want to be owned!

mojo ,

If you want to throw the word pseudoscience around, can you post any scientific evidence that beatin the meat causes porn addiction? I’ve been doing it my whole life and hasn’t caused me any issues, just ask ur mom after I banged her last night.

mojo ,

Unironically saying big porn propaganda.

You can’t be anti porn and say masturbating isn’t inherently bad in the same comment lol. Real lack of self awareness buddy.

mojo ,

Bro do you really think masturbating is the same as alcohol or drugs addiction lol. If you genuinely believe that, then idk what to tell you, you’re just wrong. Please try to look for a single scientific paper that supports this absolutely wild view. I will pay you in a million uplemmys.

mojo ,

Females aren’t in any better of a situation. Mental health support funding is non existent and fucking me over right now :(

mojo ,

I’m saying it’s not a gender specific issue, but I guess you’d rather play a victim. If you want experience from a men’s perspective, I have zero issue with emotional support when I’m talking to girls I can trust.

mojo ,

I’m saying the complete opposite of “be a man” that support is out there for men. Are you even attempting to read comments in good faith, or are you reading some completely different text that isn’t there?

mojo ,

Alright I think this convo is done since you are clearly taking this in bad faith after I clarified multiple times that is nothing close to what I said. Find a strawman somewhere else to argue against.

The same people who are mad at Meta for scraping already public information, are now mad at Microsoft for not forcing themselves into the fedi to scan all private and public content? Consistent view points are hard!

Should we post on our local instances' communities to avoid making the Fediverse centralized? ( kbin.social )

I realized that there are alot of inactive communities across the Lemmy and kbin instances. The beauty of decentralization is that we don't rely on a central instance, if a fediverse instance becomes the central one that hosts the majority of posts, then if that instance goes down, we lose alot. I also suggest posting to small...

mojo ,

Instead of a bunch of fractured communities, I’d like to focus on one main of the a topic. If that means centralizing on one of the main couple of ones, I think that’s better for the sake of content instead of decentralization. It would grow the fedi at a faster rate this way. The centralization problem would hopefully be solved later if Lemmy were to add a redirect feature, similar to how Masotodon account transfers work by old accounts acting like transfers. That way once a larger community of centralized and grown, it’ll be able to move to another instance for the sake of decentralization.

PSA, you can add subreddits as an RSS to view without supporting Reddit

There’s still some subreddits I’d like to view as their communities haven’t swapped over yet. Like you guys, I obviously don’t want to support Reddit in any way shape or form. Surprisingly, they have not gutted RSS feeds yet. Simply add .rss at the end of the domain. Example...
