Um piss off. It is not irrelevant or misinformation. That is exactly what petroleum is.
You clearly can't understand a factual statement from an opinion I never said it was good I never said it was bad I just said it was. If you'd bother to take a moment to think about it. You would realize that I was referring to the fact that petroleum is extremely energy dense. For the very reason I stated. That is fundamentally why petroleum has become a successful energy source and why it's been so difficult to replace.
You're welcome to point out where I said it was renewable. I think you're going to have a difficult time finding that statement.
As for being a pedantic ass that's clearly your territory. A pedantic ass that it likes to put words in other people's mouths.
This is the best plastic epoxy I have found. JB Weld plastic weld. There are others if you can't get it.
So take it apart. Clean it especially if there is any soap. Let it dry. After it is dry it might not hurt to do a light clean with rubbing alcohol. Then epoxy it back together, per the epoxy instructions. This type of epoxy is very noxious. Do it outside and leave the top outside for a few hours. It is also best to not touch it, use a stick.
It really depends on the type of glass some glass transmits UV light and some types reflect UV light. And that is not taking into account the pile of other factors that will affect it.
I've tried scrubbing it several times with bar keepers friend soft cleanser and although it improves, it never goes away completely and it always comes back....
Citric acid is commonly used in the canning process. So look in the canning section of the grocery store. The last time I found it was at an ACE hardware that had a very good canning section.
Oxalic acid is an option for rust removal, but it is less common. Basically you need an acid that is safe for fiberglass tubs but works on rust. I have also used stuff like CLR or Lime-Away. Just double check that they are safe for the tub.
Just remember that even weak acids can be dangerous to work with. Wear gloves, eye protection and make sure the room is well vented.
I used to have a job where I drove a box truck. It was slow empty and painfully slow full. It was also speed limited to 75mph. So I would tend to hang out with the semis on the hwy. One time I was driving down the hwy and this guy in a pretty new Volvo( so the fast ones) was coming down the on ramp. I could see he was going to merge right in front of me so I slowed down to give him some space. I figured he would want to be in front of the slow box truck. As he got close to the merge he slowed down so he was even with me. I gave him a little more space to merge in front of me and slowed down again. He had plenty of room left in the on merge lane if just used the skinny pedal. Instead he waited until was almost out of room then started honking at me. I did my best to speed up my painfully slow box truck but I am sure he has to slow down to the point he was merging at 45mph as everyone was doing 75-80mph. I am sure he was cursing me too because he wasn't willing to get up to hwy speed before merging.
If care credit is easy to as it was ten years ago you have nothing to worry about. Just make sure that the vet takes it first. Despite being a credit card, it doesn't quite spend like one.
Sorry to hear that they do have a different parent company now so it may not be the same. Though I would try calling and talking to someone. Again my experience is 10 years old but the person I talked to on the phone was very accommodating.
Also do you have a local shelter? Give them a call they always know if there is a low cost vet in the area. 2 grand for a sedation and wound cleaning seems really high. Even with antibiotics.
For anyone who is wondering the alloy metal that is radioactive is Technetium #43. It is weird it has no stable isotopes, and is only one of two radioactive elements that proceed non radioactive elements. As far as I am concerned it exists only to be different.
Promethium #61 it is so rare that it really has no practical uses outside the lab. There is most likely less than a kilogram of the stuff in the entire planet.
Just as an example, there were evidently reports during the 2007 Glasgow airport attack that someone attempting to subdue the assailant and assist police kicked said attacker in the testicles… but somehow managed to do so hard enough to injure one of their own foot tendons.
It really is. I once broke my foot running up some stairs. It was an emergency and as I was running I caught the edge of one step with just two toes(I did have shoes on) the ball of foot missed the stairs completely. Instead of slowing down or trying again I just pushed hard throwing my weight forward. Find out later that I had a radial fracture of my second metatarsal. The crazy thing is I spent the next few hours walking on a broken foot and didn’t feel it at all.
I did feel it the next day though. Fuck that hurt .

You I would probably cut them with a hacksaw. Honestly it would probably be fine with the grinder, but just in case it is better to not have sparks.
Do you know if the block has been sealed? It may not have been. Concrete is porous and will weep Water. You might call a concrete guy and ask if there is any kind of interior coating that can be used to seal it.
In the meantime get a UV air filter, a dehumidifier and some microban. You don’t need mold getting a foot hold.

Say I am sitting in the shadow, but the sunlight gets reflected by some window pane onto me. Does this contain enough UV light to give me a sunburn?
