I often hear science-adjacent folks stating that a tree needs to be 30 years old before it starts absorbing CO₂, usually paired with the statement that it’s therefore pointless to start planting tons of trees now for slowing climate change....
Volume of a cylinder is πr^2Height
Assuming the height of the tree stays the same, let's say 100'.
Radius is 2' and then we have a 500 year old with a radius of 5'
2' x 100' tree has a volume of 1256'
5' x 100' tree has a volume of 7852'
Trees are made of carbon. Older trees sequester more carbon
Biden could be using executive orders AND be pressing for more supreme court seats. That's without mentioning the hard tac he should have taken against sinema and manchin.
Hey there, fellow movie enthusiasts! I’m on the hunt for films that portray positive masculinity. We often see movies with traditional, stereotypical portrayals of masculinity, but I believe there’s a world of cinema out there that can challenge these norms and offer a fresh perspective....

For the record I do prefer TNG as well, but rewatching The Orville, after you get past its kinda sucky first season, I really...
I watched TNG with my daughter. Every time there was a trans episode we felt a little cringe. Expecting a show from the early 90s to have horrible takes, but every time, they did well. Our cringe was misplaced
There are inspiring, epic quotes in Star Trek. Words that stir the soul, shining a light on paths to a brighter now and a better future. But, what about those bits of dialog that don’t have a stirring message, that you enjoy just because you enjoy them?...
I worked in a government office that supported a very seasonal industry.
My coworker had an 8:30 start and would be done her work by 9.
Other times we wouldn't have time in the day to finish, but the slow season was hell.
My only pushback is how much evidence do you need? He's anti-latin, anti-gay, anti-teans and uses neo-nazi imagery.
Anyone that's willing to ignore one of those because it's not explicit enough, is highly suspect.
I use rigid, and I've used them in a construction environment.
In my opinion, most of the impact drivers and drills are comparable, but the rigid nail gun is better than the DeWalt (hands down) or Milwaukee (down to preference). The funny thing to me is that the Ryobi nail gun is also much better than the DeWalt one.
