I'm thinking specifically about cheddar. I've never had an American cheese.

Have you ever tried to tie a knot in a cosmic spring? You need hands in all 10 dimensions.

She’s gonna unhinge her jaw and engulf that entire bunny.

[Solved] Trees supposedly take 30 years *before* they absorb CO₂. Why?

I often hear science-adjacent folks stating that a tree needs to be 30 years old before it starts absorbing CO₂, usually paired with the statement that it’s therefore pointless to start planting tons of trees now for slowing climate change....

"Some random guy on YouTube said it and I trust him so it must be true "

OP is trying to fact-check what he heard, though. You could give a little more credit.

This is public, everyone at the company notices these increases. If they don’t come across to the existing people? It will be a riot and mass exodus.

That’s a feature, not a bug.

What is it people don’t like about Motion Picture? I haven’t watched it since I was a child.

No need to train them.

I helped a friend dismantle a shed in a pasture with three alpacas on his hobby farm. When we looked in their direction, they froze like statues. When we focused on the boards, they would inch just a liiiiittle bit closer, and freeze when we looked again. There was an ungulate serial killer vibe happening.

Apparently they get quite irritable close to shearing time, because the wool droops down in front of their eyes and the stumble into each other.
