Sick children mean bad nights, frequent interruptions and a lot of stress. It isn't healthy to add a normal work day on top of that, even from home.

She looks more Effrosian to me. We'll see :-)

Episode Discussion | Star Trek: Discovery | 5x07 "Erigah"

I finally caught up so I can read these messages, I'm happy :-).

I watched all 7 episodes in a few days. So far, I liked this season very much, it's kind of sad to know it's the last season when they finally found their voice. Burnham is quite sufferable finally (even if they had to make her linked to the antagonists… at least it's indirectly) and the rest of the crew receive some light. Moll and L'ak are interesting and rich. I love to see more Breen. And reflections on spirituality touch me personally, it's refreshing to see Star Trek treating this subject more deeply than “religion is bad duh” (or with “akoocheemoya”s).

Now I have work to catch up 😅.

Yeah, but no. To refuse the term feminism is like to say “white lives matter too”. Of course men deserve rights, and of course white lives matter too. But white people and men don't need to fight for themselves.

I don't know the guy, but I like him.

As a French, it always seems strange to me seeing a politician making a sermon, but it looks like a normal thing in America.

Yo @startrek, tell me something?

Do exist in the universe? Does any whatsoever exist in the Star Trek universe?

Because, if not, then it means there are no Tucker Carlsons and no Jon Stewarts, and no John Olivers in that universe. Probably because nothing needs internal investigations in that society as a whole!

And that frankly blows my mind... 🤯

And there is the Federation News Network in Picard. A journalist even interviews Picard in the beginning of the first season.

I believe we also see the FNN in Lower Decks, in which they act more like a tabloid than an actual news service.

Except Sam. You can see him vibing in the background.

I missed that when I watched the episode, but now it’s my favourite part of this episode.

New Series Watching Plan Feedback

Back in the 90s, I remember watching episodes of Voyager and TNG on our little black-and-white TV and then watched the TOS movies 15 or so years ago. This past summer, I’ve started watching all the series and movies straight through. So far I have watched through all TOS, TAS, and am up through The Final Frontier (I know,...

And I hope they will add Lower Decks one day to the list, even if it’s not live action.

To defend the rights of your colleagues and your class is a purpose per se (but in the US unions work differently than in my country so I may be missing the point).

This is something I would have loved to hate.
