Wonder if that's actually what affected the timing? The John Oliver protests were drying up perhaps? Losing protest traffic - so they reopened r/Place now in the hopes of getting folks to come back to reddit to protest one more time, on redrdit itself, while increasing traffic and ads revenues.
Oh man. Mixing walnut and coffee stuff, two of my favorite things. Any chance you have ever made a v60 filter holder in the past? I tried to commission someone on Reddit but they never replied. Below is what I saw and NEEDED but could never get. Let me know if you would like take on a project!
Seems like maybe I’ve accidentally done it right by having a separate log in to both my Mastodon insurance and my Pixelfed instance. I always wonder if Federation means I should have one log in across all the Fediverse, but seems like maybe not.
The original idea was that users would only need one acct to interact with all parts of the fediverse, but the mastodon team decided they didn't want that. They've said they want mastodon to be solely focused on microblogging and don't want to optimize for other fediverse media/platforms
Probably bad. It centralizes the logins on mastodon and give them power over all the other tools that depend on them. If a gafam purchases a big mastodon instance then he also purchases a lot of accounts too.
Not at hand, but they are 1/2” plywood with simple routed grooves on hardwood runners. Two of the three have little 3d printed, scalloped pen “trays”. The third is deep enough for most brands of 50-60 mL ink bottles.
The back is just hardboard set into a rabbet, so this thing looks neat against a wall. It’s also heavier than it looks, lol, and with plenty of, umm, “character”.
